The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA provides life-saving services each year to over a thousand animals from Columbia and Greene counties. However, the buildings housing our animals are over 55 years old and have long outlived their usefulness.
We are in dire need of a new facility. As a result we’ve established a new shelter Building Fund. Currently over $600K has been raised out of an approximate $2.25 million needed to complete this project. This building fund is a restricted fund — used exclusively for the construction of a new, state of the art, energy efficient shelter for our animal companions.
