Even at nine years old, Angel can still offer a family love and friendship for years. Angel was found wandering on Schoolhouse Road in Claverack by Andy Taggard, a long-time member and supporter of Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA. When Angel was found, she was emaciated, dehydrated, and weighed only 35 pounds, which was nearly ten pounds underweight. After further examination, she was found to be in desperate need of dentistry, and she had a large mass on her abdomen that needed to be removed. It appeared that she was discarded because of her age and medical needs. Both medical procedures have been sponsored by Art and Roz Brown and the adoption fee will be sponsored by Paul Jorrell. Now Angel needs her new forever home. After an in-depth discussion with Angel, she’s agreed to provide unconditional love for a new family during the holidays.
