At the request of the ASPCA and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA is one of twelve animal shelters and rescues throughout New York and New Jersey that is assisting with the treatment and placement of 97 dogs that were surrendered from the non-profit organization Help a Hound Canine Rescue outside Utica, NY. Currently, CGHS/SPCA has seven dogs from the Help a Hound Rescue. All are being evaluated, treated, and will be made available for adoption.

“CGHS/SPCA is proud to assist these dogs that are in dire need of proper food and medical treatment, and we look forward to placing them in their new, safe homes,” said Ron Perez, President/Investigator of CGHS/SPCA.
