On Saturday, August 1, 2015, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA will hold its 11th Annual Summer Paw Picnic to benefit the animals in its care. The event will be held at the site of the new CGHS/SPCA shelter facility, located at 111 Humane Society Road, just off Route 66 north of Hudson, NY.
The event features a full afternoon of enjoyment, including tours of the new facility, silent and live auctions (including a pair of Giants vs. Patriots football tickets), raffles, a wildlife presentation by Brian Robinson, music provided by the Rich Hallenbeck Band, children’s activities, and, of course, a gourmet barbecue-style picnic.
Tickets are available in advance for a limited time for $60 per adult ($5 for children under 12) by contacting the shelter by phone at (518) 828-6044 or by email at email@example.com, or at the door as a walk-in for $70 (still $5 for children).
CGHS/SPCA would like to thank the sponsors of this event, as well as the Picnic Committee and volunteers, for making the Paw Picnic possible.
