The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA will be holding an Art Sale on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All art being sold was donated to the shelter for the purpose of raising funds to support the more than four thousand animals served by CGHS/SPCA every year. Artists include Earl, Bonnie White, and Celeste Plowden, to name just a few.
There will be wine and cheese for all participants, and the 2016 winner of the Costa Rica Dream Get-a-Way raffle will be chosen. The Costa Rica Dream Get-a-Way includes seven days at the Enchanted Villa in Playa Langosta Costa Rica (donated by Duncan Calhoun and Russ Gibson), air fare for two (donated by Richmor Aviation), and one week of dog boarding at CGHS/SPCA. Raffle tickets are $50 each, and only three hundred will be sold. People interested in purchasing raffle tickets can visit the shelter’s website at cghs.org, call (518) 828-6044 ext. 100, or purchase them at the shelter. Raffle tickets will be available at the Art Sale as well, with the drawing being held at 7:30 p.m.
