On Saturday, June 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA, as well as Oldies 93.5 FM, The Cat 98.5 FM, and WRWD, will be hosting an Open House and free pet adoption day. CGHS/SPCA is filled with cats, kittens, and dogs that are in need of good, permanent homes. All pets go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and disease-tested. All adult pet adoptions include a 24PetWatch free microchip and 30 days free Pet Insurance. All of these benefits will be free to approved homes during the Open House.

Radio personality Bill Williams will be on hand for giveaways with the prize wheel. There will be free hot dogs, and the shelter’s gift shop will be open. Adoption Counselors will be on hand to help you choose your new pet. To find out how you can take your new pet home on the same day, please call (518) 828-6044, or have your application pre-approved by visiting our website at cghs.org. CGHS/SPCA is located at 111 Humane Society Road in Claverack
