On Saturday, May 9, partial proceeds from every purchase at Dairy Queen will benefit the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA and the more than one thousand animals that they serve each year. CGHS/SPCA, located in Claverack, NY, never euthanizes for space constraints and receives no federal, state, or county funding.
CGHS will be there from 11-3 selling dog, cat, and people items which make great gifts. For more information, please contact CGHS/SPCA by phone at (518) 828-6044 or by email at info@cghs.org. The shelter would like to thank Martin Silver, owner of the Ghent Dairy Queen, for his ongoing support to CGHS/SPCA. The Dairy Queen Benefit has raised nearly $5,000 over the last five years.
