Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA needs your help to find the person or persons that abandoned a one year old female chocolate Labrador at the Humane Society on June 13. The Labrador, now named Honey, was tied to a gate at the Shelter. Had she been abandoned while the Shelter was closed, Honey could have easily succumbed to heat exhaustion.  If anyone has information on Honey, please contact Ron Perez, President/Investigator of the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA at (518) 828-6044 ext. 108 or at ronperez@cghs.org. All information will be kept confidential. To abandon a dog or cat is a class A misdemeanor, punishable by a year in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.

Honey is a gentle, sweet, shy dog that would do well with a mature owner. If you’re interested in adopting Honey, please call the Shelter at (518) 828-6044 ext. 101.
