The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA (CGHS/SPCA) is proud to announce that it has successfully reached its $40,000 fundraising goal for a new emergency backup generator, thanks to the incredible generosity of its supporters.
CGHS/SPCA extends its heartfelt gratitude to every individual, business, and organization that contributed to the campaign. Every donation, regardless of size, played an important role in making this project possible and helping to safeguard the thousands of animals cared for by the shelter each year.
The new generator will provide reliable emergency power for years to come, ensuring the continued operation of animal housing areas, medical equipment, refrigeration systems, communications infrastructure, and other essential services during power outages.
The names of all donors who contributed $1,000 or more will be permanently recognized on a commemorative plaque at the shelter.
