Charlene Marchand Wins the CGHS/SPCA Annual Bilinski Award

The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA presented Charlene Marchand with the 2nd Annual Bilinski Award, their highest honor, at its annual Summer Paw Picnic on August 6, 2011.

Charlene Marchand has been a member of the Board of Directors of CGHS/SPCA since 1995, and is a renowned dog trainer and syndicated columnist on dog behavior and nutrition. Ms. Marchand provides counsel to staff and training to animals at CGHS/SPCA, specializing in behavioral and transitional difficulties with shelter dogs and cats.

The Bilinski Award is presented annually by the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA to the person, business, or organization who they feel most demonstrates the same passion for and commitment to the well-being of all animals that is embodied in and by the generosity and devotion of Jerry Biliski, DVM.
