Summer is the season of adventure, sunshine… and second chances. That’s why Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA, with generous support from the ASPCA, is thrilled to offer two free adoption days in August — giving shelter pets the opportunity to find loving, forever homes with no financial barrier.
Adoption fees will be waived on August 2 and August 30.
Each free adoption day is more than just a promotion — it’s a life changing opportunity. Every animal adopted makes room for another in need and helps reduce the strain on shelter resources during the busiest season of the year.
All adopted animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start their next chapter. While adoption fees are waived, standard screening still applies to ensure every pet is placed in a safe, loving environment.
