At two years old, Peter has now spent half his life at the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA waiting for a new home. Peter came to CGHS/SPCA last November because, as the new dog in the house, he wasn’t getting along with the other animals.

Sadly, Peter has been overlooked by hundreds of families. He has drifted through three Adopt-a-thons at the shelter, and he watched patiently as over two hundred other dogs have come and gone to their forever homes. Now, it’s Peter’s turn!

Peter is very sweet, active, and highly intelligent. He gets along with select dogs and cats. His adoption fee is sponsored (waived), and in addition to sponsorship, CGHS/SPCA will provide three months of flea/tick and heartworm preventive without charge.

Please give Peter a chance. As nice as our facility is, he doesn’t want to spend another holiday season at the shelter.
