Animal lovers from Columbia, Greene, and surrounding counties continue to show up in impressive numbers to support the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA (CGHS/SPCA) since the announcement of the partnership between CGHS/SPCA and Message in a Bottle recycling redemption center that began in June. So far nearly $3,000 has been raised to help provide programs and services to over five thousand animals served by CGHS/SPCA each year. The partnership is ongoing, and supporters can drop off recyclables to Message in a Bottle at 9 Healy Blvd., Hudson, NY and ask to credit the CGHS/SPCA account.
