For Immediate Release

The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA (CGHS/SPCA) extends its heartfelt appreciation to The National Bank of Coxsackie for their support of our organization and the local community. The bank recently donated $5,000 to benefit CGHS/SPCA and the many programs that our shelter offers to pets and people throughout the region.

“On behalf of our Board of Directors, volunteers, staff, and of course, our animals, I’d like to thank The National Bank of Coxsackie for their generous gift to our shelter,” said CGHS/SPCA President and CEO Ron Perez,. “Assistance from civic-minded businesses such as The National Bank of Coxsackie helps us to serve thousands of animals each year—many of whom are unwanted, hungry, lost, or victims of cruelty. We are deeply grateful for the Bank’s generosity and their commitment to our mission.”

This contribution will directly provide for care, housing, and medical treatment of animals in need, helping us to offer a safe and loving environment for homeless and neglected pets as they await their forever homes.
