The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA invites the community to join us for an all-faith Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the CGHS/SPCA facility, located at 111 Humane Society Road in Hudson, NY.

In celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Reverend Gary Paul Gelfenbien will officiate this special gathering honoring the animals who enrich our lives.

All animals are welcome! Dogs must be leashed, cats and birds secured in carriers, and livestock transported in trailers. Community members are warmly invited to attend, with or without an animal companion, as we come together to celebrate the special bond between people and animals.
