The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA is pleased to announce that longtime supporters Russ Gibson and Duncan Calhoun have generously committed to matching all donations made now through Christmas Day, up to $25,000. This match is being offered in memory of their beloved dog Nora, who sadly crossed over Rainbow Bridge two days after her ninth birthday.

Their donation will directly support the Zamboni Fund, which provides critical assistance to the shelter’s free Pet Food Bank and low-cost veterinary clinic. This fund was established by Russ and Duncan originally in loving memory of their cherished Shar-Pei, Zamboni.

Donors wishing to have their gifts matched are asked to clearly indicate “CGHS Matching Gift” or “CGHS Christmas Match” on all donations, whether made by mail or online.
