The Columbia-Greene Humane Society is pleased to announce a special two-day sale on heartworm testing, as well as canine and feline SNAP tests. This limited-time offer is designed to help pet owners prepare for warmer weather, when the risk of vector-borne diseases, spread by mosquitoes and ticks, significantly increases.
The feline SNAP test screens for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and heartworm disease. The canine SNAP test screens for heartworm and three common tick-borne diseases: Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis.
All testing services will be offered at 20% off, and the office visit fee will be reduced to $15. The sale will take place on May 4 and May 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and is by appointment only.
Please note that if a pet tests positive for any condition, a follow-up examination with one of our veterinarians will be required to discuss treatment options.
To schedule an appointment, please contact our office at 518-828-6044 or at info@cghs.org.
