The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA’s Bilinski Award is the highest award bestowed on a person, business, or organization whose passion and commitment to the well-being of all animals is embodied by their generosity and devotion demonstrated by Dr. Jerry Bilinski.

CGHS/SPCA Chief Investigator Lee DeLisle is the recipient of the 2024 Bilinski Award. Lee has been with the CGHS/SPCA Cruelty Unit since 1991, and investigated hundreds of cases throughout his career.

“I’d like to congratulate and thank Chief Investigator DeLisle for his tremendously consistent and generous support of the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA. Lee has liberated hundreds of animals in our two counties from pain and suffering over his 33 year career. We are grateful for the opportunity to present him with the 2024 Bilinski Award,” said Ron Perez, President/CEO of CGHS/SPCA.
